When timeless elegance meets the magic of a mountain wedding, the result is a celebration as breathtaking as the landscape itself.
For Francesca and Matthew, their Colorado mountain wedding was exactly that – a joyful, romantic celebration wrapped in breathtaking scenery. Captured beautifully by Mary Ann Craddock, every moment, from the cozy welcome party to the lively dance floor, reflected their style.

The Magical Start
Francesca and Matthew’s romantic mountain wedding weekend began with an intimate welcome celebration at the Vail Golf Club. Though a soft rain shower greeted guests at the start, the evening quickly transformed into a warm, magical gathering filled with the unmistakable excitement.
Francesca made a graceful entrance in an ivory floral gown with a matching cape and train – a look that felt fashion-forward. The design echoed the weekend’s floral motif, paired beautifully with lush arrangements and flickering candlelight.

The Details
Designed by Isabelle Kline, Francesca and Matthew’s wedding mountain weekend unfolded as a seamless blend of natural beauty and refined elegance. Inspired by the Colorado mountains, the celebration featured a soft palette of pink, green, and blue brought to life through lush florals, layered textures, and sweeping alpine views.
The invitation suite by Empress Stationery offered guests a first glimpse into the day’s romantic vision. With delicate wildflower illustrations, graceful calligraphy, and silk lace from Francesca’s gown woven into the design, it perfectly mirrored the balance of artistry and intimacy that defined the entire weekend.

The Fashion
Francesca looked radiant in her Rita Vinieris gown – a romantic, ethereal creation with detachable sleeves that added soft movement and dimension. Her bouquet, also designed by Isabelle Kline Design, featured a delicate mix of roses, peonies, tweedia, delphiniums, and sweet peas in shades of blush, white, and blue – perfectly complementing the pastel tones woven throughout the celebration.

Matthew looked equally elegant in a classic black tuxedo from Indochino, complete with a custom purple lining and his initials and wedding date embroidered inside.

The Ceremony
As guests arrived, the mountains stretched endlessly behind a floral-lined aisle that felt like a fairy garden. Isabelle Kline Design transformed the ceremony space into a dreamscape of roses, peonies, and greenery that framed the altar and melted seamlessly into the natural surroundings.

Soft violin and guitar melodies by Denver The Radio Band set a romantic tone as Francesca and Matthew exchanged vows beneath a canopy of pastel blooms and glowing mountain light.

Just Married
Once they exchanged vows, the newlyweds stole a few peaceful minutes together, capturing stunning portraits nestled in the mountain shadows.

The Reception
At the center of the reception was a showstopping hand-painted dance floor by Something Painted Events, adorned with the couple’s monogram and floral motifs that mirrored the surrounding blooms. The four-tier all-white cake carried the same refined details, its cascading roses tying the entire design story together.

The Celebration
As night fell, Denver’s The Radio Band shifted gears from ceremony serenades to a full-on celebration. The dance floor stayed packed as guests sang along to every song, culminating in a high-energy performance of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” that had everyone cheering. It was the perfect ending to a weekend filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable joy.

Francesca and Matthew’s Colorado mountain wedding was a weekend filled with love, intention, and effortless elegance. From the rain-kissed welcome party to the joyful last dance, every detail reflected their warmth and connection.
