The Details
The stationery set the tone for the wedding from the very beginning. Designed by Lively House in collaboration with Amore Creative, the invitations reflected the couple’s vision of timeless elegance and romantic, personal details.
The Bride
Ashley’s dress was designed by Galia Lahav. She wore the full Catalina collection, including the gown, its voluminous overskirt, and the matching veil. Layered together, the pieces created a romantic couture silhouette that transformed effortlessly throughout the day
The Ceremony
Ashley and James were married at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The church’s natural beauty set the tone, so the design approach was intentionally minimal. Rather than layering on decor, the focus was on enhancing what was already there – its architecture, light, and sense of history. Soft, thoughtful touches complemented the space without competing with it, creating an atmosphere that felt timeless and elegant.
The Reception
Hosted at the iconic Harold Washington Library, the timeless reception design balanced elegance with a modern approach. They wanted the room to feel classic while incorporating thoughtful moments that felt current and engaging.
The After Party
The after-party vibe was a celebration without limits. From the moment dinner ended, the goal was simple – party all night long. Experience-driven elements added warmth and personality, including an espresso martini machine for a late-night pick-me-up, a s’mores dessert cart that brought a sense of nostalgia and fun, and a speakeasy-style lounge tucked away from the dance floor to create an intimate, moody retreat.
