The timing & scenery made for a slew of moments that feel bright, sunny, and that literally shine.
Lunabear studios shares a bit about her inspiration: For this shoot we imagined our couple had been planning their wedding for months but one day woke up and decided they couldn’t wait a minute longer! So they packed up their adorable vintage bus and headed for the sunrise to say “I do” in an open field with the sun shining on them. After their vows, they settled in for a picnic breakfast with donuts, fruit and of course – mimosas!
We worked with the insanely talented and creative Malori Maeva of Form Floral to build a unique bouquet. Yep, that IS giant eucalyptus in there! We wanted the bouquet to shy away from typical blooms and look more foraged & alive than prim & proper. For hair and makeup, our amazing team, Kristi Ferrin (hair) and Megan Jones (makeup), prepped our beautiful model, Pamela Sassi, for her wedding. They kept things fresh and neutral to let the colors of our settings and florals really shine. We wanted the hair to de achievable by a bride-to-be so we went with a braided half up/half down do! The dress was actually sewn by my mother who created the dress to compliment our vintage accessories (all from Cost Plus) and our beautiful VW bus!
