This Winter wedding on our wedding blog today is beautifully set on an overcast beach and in a pretty brick building in Seattle, Washington. The neutral and green details perfectly complimented the beach location and the stunning bridal party, making us ooh and ahh over and over. We’re in love with the bridesmaid’s jade gowns in various floor length styles that sway in the sandy breeze. Centerpieces of votive candles, vases, and lanterns lit up the reception and ceremony areas with light and beauty. The couple worked hard DIY-ing favors and place cards and making the day all their own, but they themselves were truly the most stunning part! The bride wowed in a drop-dead-gorgeous kind of ball gown and pearls, and the photos of her with her groom on the beach are oh-so romantic. Brittany from Blue Rose Photography captured the beautiful day and shared a bit about it with us:
Nick and Janis were married on Nov 8, 2014 at Seattle’s Golden Gardens Bathhouse. I loved the jade green color her bridesmaids wore and how they incorporated the color throughout their DIY decor. They spent hours making handmade porcelain coasters with their engagement session photos featured on each one. They also had their engagement photos printed onto their cake ! pretty cool 🙂 Janis works for Nordstrom and had some of the best bridal accessories I’ve ever seen. She went with bold gold Chanel jewelry and pearls and amazing Prada shoes! The mercury glass candles throughout their reception really gave off the romantic winter wedding vibe. They are both so down to earth and genuinely kind people and we are so happy for them !
