Romance exudes through every element of this gorgeous grey and mauve wedding on our wedding blog today. A long sleeved lace wedding gown is just the beginning – add in greenery-heavy floral arrangements that feature ivory and purple blooms, and it’s already incredibly picturesque. Frances Liu of Charmed Events dreamed up the moody, winter wedding and brought it to life in exquisite fashion. She also incorporated vintage rentals, a candlelit reception, and a “The Night is Ours” theme that only add to the romantic air. One of our favorite parts of this wedding inspiration is the muted color palette. Shades of pastel range from dusty lavender to blush, to vibrant plum and yet every color fits perfectly in place. We especially love the bridesmaid’s simply stunning Joanna August gown and her ivory and peach bouquet by Precious and Blooming.
The eye-catching ceremony decor can only be matched by an equally beautiful reception. A lace linen, textured dishes, and slate place cards together create a perfect mix of soft and hard details. Grey candlesticks bring additional color and light to the neutral tabletop that doesn’t go unnoticed. We also love how the bareness of the venue doesn’t compete for attention with the beautiful tablescape.
Finally, there must be cake! This clean three-tier cake doesn’t just do the trick either. It stands out all on it’s own with a marbled base in an ombre fashion. The backdrop reads “The Night is Ours” in French. Ouí.
