This color scheme has us wishing for Fall! The ivory, gold & plum wedding inspiration shoot is gracing our wedding blog today and it’s stunning. Take a peek at the modern, eclectic details designed by Mint and Lovely and captured by June & Jae Photography that make it unique and oh-so-pretty:
The Midwest is well known for its rustic backdrops, sprawling prairies, and long-standing traditions, however couples are becoming more progressive in their ideals of what a wedding could look like. We dreamed of creating an engagement scene that would act as a springboard to inspire couples to break away from their preconceived notions of what a wedding in a traditional setting should look like. Set in a rustic venue in central Wisconsin, this inspirational shoot combined a moody color palette, modernized decor, and romantic florals to give a glance at what a modern wedding in a classic location could be.
A hand crafted engagement gown was constructed from yards of shimmery gold tulle and draped to perfection. An innovative floral belt acted as the perfect eye catching accent that we see as the next must have floral accessory. We translated the moody modern aesthetic into the confections with an unconventional waffle stack and a traditional cake adorned with contemporary pulled sugar hazelnuts.
Our belief is in design with intention and we hope that these images serve as inspiration for couples and industry professionals alike, pushing them to think beyond the perceived aesthetic of a venue.
