One of our very favorite things about the wedding industry is meeting wonderful vendors who quickly become friends. Danika, from Artistry by Danika, is one of those people. She is one of our talented Be Inspired Tastemakers who always does amazing work and has great personal style so we couldn’t wait to see her intimate, Oregon wedding. Who better to tell us about the day than Danika herself…
We both love the rustic beauty and charm of where I’m from in Southern Oregon and decided that would be where we would marry one day. On a quick trip back home, I visited a few potential venues and instantly decided on Red Lily Vineyards because of its stunning surroundings.
Our wedding day turned out to be very intimate (with only 30 guests!), rustic, and unique. Our ceremony was held on a gorgeous hilltop that had 360 views of mountains, pine trees and the vineyard below. Our guests were shuttled up to the top of the mountain and sat comfortably on rustic wooden benches during the ceremony. I was driven up the mountain in a vintage Model T and then let out at the top to walk down the aisle. That ride up is one of my favorite moments from the day! The reception was then held down the hill in an old restored wine barrel barn. We dined on a mouthwatering, four-course meal paired with delicious wines while listening to an incredible solo guitarist. Our guests are still raving about how incredible of a time they had and how it was the “most unique wedding” they have ever attended. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect day!
