These sweeties are making their second appearance on our wedding blog today with their beautifully bright wedding full of vintage flair. We were honored to feature Alexis’ & Daniel’s engagement last winter (with their adorable pup!) and still think they’re the cutest! Their wedding is just as wonderful. Filled with a beautiful bridal party, a vintage van (donning a just married sign), and floral arrangements that pop in reds, pinks, and yellows! The bride’s soft look with a stunning lace trimmed veil and gown, backed by maids in shades of neutral and teal, was picturesque. Her teal toed shoes (that we need to borrow) finished off the look. All she needed was her groom in grey :). We love how Daphne Mae Photography captured the day – it looks like a dream!
From the photographer…
Alexis and danny’s wedding day was so authentically theirs. from the vibrant, wild floral arrangements, to the bride’s flowing wavy locks and natural make up, to the groom’s vintage bus they used as a backdrop for photos. every element exuded their personalities, and most importantly, their love. they are high school sweethearts, and you could tell by the smile plastered to the groom’s face, as well as the bride’s overwhelming calm and joy throughout the day, that these two have an amazing adventure and partnership in store for them. It was a complete delight to be fortunate enough to capture.

I think Danny and I would both agree that besides taking our vows, our favorite memory from the wedding was when it was just the two of us taking pictures. It was a time away from the crowd and we were really able to soak in what had just happened and the beauty we saw in one another. We had fun laughing together and just being ourselves before we went back to the big party that was being thrown for us. We both are more introverted than extroverted, so getting that time together was so special. We loved our wedding and being able to celebrate with everyone that has been so influential in our lives.
Seeing our parents and siblings and how emotional they were at our wedding was also so special for us. They truly are the foundation for who we grew into as individuals and a huge part in who we are as a couple. We are so thankful for all our friends and family and will reminisce fondly on this special day forever.
