Bold Burgundy Wedding Inspiration at a Vineyard Villa

Deep red and plum aren’t just for winter weddings! This bold, burgundy wedding inspiration at a vineyard villa proves just that. When the color is combined with a dreamy outdoor venue, plenty of florals, and ivory and blush accents, it becomes just as fitting for spring. But you’ll love more than the pretty hues of the dreamy inspiration…

The planner Kim, at KLO Events, shares…

This boho chic meets rustic inspired shoot is filled with lots of textures and vibrant colors. A collaboration by a handful of the Bay Area’s talented creatives. The vision was to create something dreamy with a mix of vibrant colors and other unconventional elements to tell a love story. I wanted to work with Olivia Richards Photography because I knew she could translate that vision effortlessly.

Our amazing floral designer amplified the design with her gorgeous choice of flowers with e a mix of textures. The color palette of Burgundy, deep red, purple and blush inspired her to create floral pieces using anemones, ranunculus, English roses, spray roses, alstroemeria, proteas, and purple flowering kale. Combining tropical flowers with anemones, roses, ranunculus and alstroemeria was a risk but produced the perfect outcome.

Hair and Makeup Artist, Felicia Chang created the perfect, classic smokey eye and braided updo on our bride. Our groom’s look, on the other hand, was the perfect textured styled to complement the theme. We chose Regale Winery and Vineyards, inspired by Italian landscapes and old-world villas for the shoot. Against the backdrop of colorful and intimate garden vignettes featuring beautiful fountains, heirloom roses and a spiral herb garden. It was the perfect scene to create a rustic meets modern aesthetic.
