Timeless Outdoor Engagement

We’re pretty sure that it doesn’t get better than a sparkly dress, an even more sparkly engagement ring, and Caroline Tran shooting your engagement session! This couple was lucky enough to shoot with one of our favorite photographers in a beyond gorgeous rustic setting complete with giant oak trees. We’re obsessing over both her purple and glitter dresses but I’m pretty sure this girl could pull off a burlap sack!

The bride-to-be gave us a little glimpse into the day they met…

“It was July 10th, 2010. There was a local standup paddle boarding race that day…he was participating and I was in attendance with my family as a spectator. It was an early day on the beach, starting at 7 am. After the race, there was an awards banquet at a nearby restaurant. During lunch, he came over to say hello and introduce himself. We talked and talked, and then afternoon turned into evening and we went inside and talked and talked until midnight. That night, one of my Aunts said…”I just met my future nephew”. Our first official date was the next day; lunch and a margarita at my favorite Mexican spot and, of course, sitting on the beach watching the sunset. It’s been true love since day one!”
