How fun is this wedding at The Thursday Club?! Photographed by Aaron Shintaku, styled by Jesi Haack, and floral design by JL Designs – I don’t think it can get much better than that! Bow ties were a constant throughout the wedding – guests were given them to wear, they were incorporated on the drink sticks AND the name tags! The brides mom made all the pillows for the seats, how amazing is that!? Instead of a cake the couple opted for a frozen yogurt bar from Fiji Yogurt and instead of a five course meal they chose catering by one of their favorites, Wahoos fish tacos! It’s great to see couples break tradition and include things they love! I think their smiles say it all!

My Wedding Dream Team Reveal Part II

Welcome to part two of my Wedding Vendor Reveal Extravaganza! Below you will find my Floral, Dress, Cake, Catering, and Music vendors. I don’t think I can say enough how lucky I am to have all these wonderful people helping my with this wedding! I truly feel blessed! OMG, 3 more days till I’m married!!

JL Designs: It’s no secret how much I admire and love Carissa of JL Designs! Not only is she an amazing floral designer but she is also one of my best friends and bridesmaids, she is really pulling double duty during this wedding! Every time I see her work she amazes me with her creativity.It has been so wonderful having her by my side for the past year and a half, she has held my hand through it all and I’m so glad that I truly have one of the best in the biz by my side!

Alisa Benay: Alisa has truly been a Fairy Godmother throughout this whole wedding process! I’m so excited to have had her design a real couture dress for a wedding event and it has even inspired her to come out with a new line of short dresses, starting with the “Leila.” Alisa has also designed hair accessories and my veil and I’m so happy to have such a talented client/friend/Fairy Godmother! I love my dress! THANK YOU!!

Sweet and Saucy Shop: I’m so excited to have Sweet and Saucy shop make my cakes. I have known Melody of Sweet and Saucy for a long time, she has really been there from the begining of this whole process starting with making my engagement party cake, my LA bridal shower cake, and now my wedding cake. It’s pretty obvious I love her and her work! I can’t wait to see what delicious cakes she has made for me and my guests! I know not only will my cakes be scrumptious to eat, they will also be delicious to look at!

Contemporary Catering: To some people food just may be the most important part of a wedding, that is why I chose Contemporary Catering for mine. Their food is so fresh and so amazingly good that I know my guests will be talking about the food for months to come! I really can’t say enough about Nathaniel and the customer service that he has provided! He has paid such good attention to what I want that I feel like I am his only customer and firs priority. It is so rare to find that in a vendor these days and I can honestly say that he is #1. He will be my top recommendation for years and years.

Hey Mister DJ: You may have seen Lee of Hey Mister DJ spinning some tunes on the Bachelor Wedding on ABC and I’m so lucky that I nabbed him for mine! I’m so excited that I have a real celebrity vendor on my list, does that make me a celebrity? All jokes aside I am so happy to have this wonderful DJ playing music for my wedding and having my guests dance the night away! I’m sure I will have some very sore and tired guests the next morining!

Rembrant Band: I LOVE my band!! Rembrant is beyond amazing and I have had my eye on them since I started in this business. They are a true hidden gem in the wedding world (but not for long!) and I can’t say enough about their talent and passion. Not only are they singing the oldies (Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Beatles) they are also singing the new hits (Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake) Who does that?! They are probably going to do it better than the originals! Check out an amazing video of what they can do here!

Media Monday: Green Wedding Shoes, Inside Weddings and Bride and Bloom

It’s been a while since we’ve had a media Monday but that doesn’t mean that my clients haven’t been blowing up the wedding world! First I’m so proud to show part two of Kristy Rice from Momental Design’s collaboration with Green Wedding Shoes! Mary Dann gave event planning tips as Expert Advice in Inside Weddings. Bride and Bloom showed lots of love to Be Inspired clients in their new issue! Antonia Christianson beautifully designed an emerald and turquoise “Secret Garden” shoot based off of a Snippet and Ink inspiration board and Kristy Rice of Momental Designs handcrafted a “Bride” sign and was featured in the 25 best bouquets. The wedding of NBA player Brian Cook also featured in the mag and was elegantly planned by Bella Weddings and Events, with floral design by JL Designs, and photography by Jasmine Star. The bride looked as elegant as ever dripping in diamonds provided by Adorn! The gorgeous wedding took place at Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes. The Groom is a former Laker and now plays for the Houston Rockets. His basketball buddies Luke Walton, Jordan Farmar and Kareem Rush were all present to celebrate with the new couple! A big CONGRATS to all my clients… your amazing talents continue to inspire me!

Love This! Thursday: Leila’s Bridal Shower Vendors

In celebration of my sister, Leila’s upcoming wedding, I have hijacked her blog for the next two days to share with you some details of Saturday’ bridal shower. Carissa Jones of JL Designs and I have been working over the past 2 months to put on a fantastic and fun bridal shower for the bride to be! Partnering with some of the most amazing vendors in the industry, we were fortunate to have several talented contributors on board. I am so excited for it all to come to reality this Saturday and for Leila to get to enjoy a day with her friends and family!

I’d like to start off by saying, I am in no way, shape or form an event planner and after attempting to put together this event I have so much more appreciation for all of you planners in the industry! That being said I was so excited when Courtney Toney of Joyful Weddings & Events came on board to help make sure no detail went over looked. Jane Jeon of Olive Hue Paper is creating adorable printed materials to appear throughout the event. I’m most excited for the delicious sweets and treats provided by Pinkberry, Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach, and The Sweet & Saucy Shop. The event will be documented by the talented, Jessica Claire and video by Ben Potter and Drew Barefoot of Cana Video Productions .

A special thanks to Stacia & Sarah at our venue, High Profile Productions, Kristy Rice of Momental Designs for her handed painted invitations, Nethanial Neubaure at Contemporary Catering for his gourmet food, Carissa Jones of JL Designs for gorgeous florals, Classic Party Rentals, Elegant Designs Specialty Linens and Fabian from Level 4 International for furniture.

Another great week at Be Inspired PR…My clients are on fire! Adorn Brides featured in Grace Ormonde and on their website for contributing Jewelry to Tracy’s very own wedding! Inspired By: Tulips

I LOVE tulips! They can successfully work their way into several settings and look completely natural. They pop up at elegant dinners, playful parties, in a garden, and on your kitchen table. I like to think I have the same adaptive abilities :- )

My favorite tulip is the parrot and no surprise to my devoted readers, green is my favorite. I love their modified mullet appeal-business on the bottom and party on top. I love that even when you cut them they continue to grow! They seem to have a resolve all their own. What a nice reminder for us in business and in life. Go on… be resilient, be beautiful, be you. Have a great weekend!
