One day while cruising around the web I came across the absolute custest blog, fast forward to Think Splendid’s boot camp in August I got to meet the amazing creators and now can call them friends. I am so excited to share their work with you. The Lolliladies from Lollipop events and design honestly create the most visually interesting events. As a trio they can both conceptualize and actualize some really neat designs. There are details galore! Each and every event I have seen has truly been a feast for the eyes. Some of you may have had a chance to meet the ladies but I wanted to take the opportunity to highlight each of their roles and also show off some of their fab work!
Jen is in charge of wedding planning & coordination and acts as the on site coordination on the day of the wedding to ensure seamless event.
Vanessa works on the creative concept of theme, décor and design for events & wedding; and is a illustration and graphic design for invitations and paper candy for events as well as web and blog !
Cortnie also works on the Creative concept of theme, décor & design for events & weddings. She too works on design inspiration boards for décor concept,is the main contributor to the blog and is the social media marketer.
The trio work together for on site styling the day of the wedding/event and all hand make décor projects such as dying fabric, making chandeliers, floral design, sewing custom linens, and much more..

Anyone who has seen the weddings that they put together has to admit they would have never thought to use or create some of the incorporated elements. Vanessa, Jen and Cort shared with us a bit about their design process. The ladies said, “The first stage of our design process, brainstorming, is always eventful. It’s such a fun stage because our ideas are bouncing off the walls and the fireworks start firing! We pull our ideas from learning about the couple we’re designing for. We love to really get to know the couple by asking them tons of questions about who they are as a couple, what makes them unique, special memories they love & also their style. From there, we listen to their overall inspiration for the wedding to get a foundation of where the concept is heading.”
They shared with us that the inspiration for any given event can truly come from anywhere, even something as abstract as song lyrics…they are soo good! I love this piece of their insight, ” Our inspiration, like our personal creative styles, is always just a reach in front of us and is always moving forward, we simply constantly have to reach a little bit further each time. Finding a distinct direction in itself can be a challenge, we constantly have such a plethora of different creative ideas that deciding on direction is not always an easy feat. We find that our most inventive and creative events have been the ones in which we have allowed ourselves to run in several different directions as once, blending our own meritage of concepts together.” I think all creative people would agree with what the ladies believe is the best part, ” The absolute best part of the process is finally seeing our inspiration turn into creation, it continues to be just as magical each and every time.” To see more of their work check out their blog and their twitter! The girls sent us over an adorable yet very chic party that they describe as “a storybook winter wonderland in the middle of summer”. The party was actually a birthday party for Jen’s young daughter.
Here is the Inspiration for the party below
” The Before”
A gorgeous ” After!”
They brought their idea to life by using ice blues, aquas and crisp whites and golds to create a cool couture vibe on a warm summer day in June.

They carried the magical wonderland feeling throughout the event by playing with fun textures and prints, even having ‘snow’ coated donuts on custom cake stands they created by using vintage glassware in retro ambers and aquas.
The Woodland animals made of glazed ceramics around the table beneath the winter white branches reminds me of Narnia and snow owls atop the birch branch is so cute.

The girls further tied in the storybook theme by incorporating Stacks of books and gold picture frames.
One of my favorite elements of the party is the woodland animal coloring paper that the girls designed for the kids to color and paint on.
