These Wafer Cookies are The Perfect Valentines Treat!

Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to try a new treat! Between Galentine’s Day parties, kids festivities at school, and dinner with your S.O. there are plenty of reasons to whip up some fun Valentine’s Day desserts. Whether you are baking something homemade for your sweetie or to bring to the office, you can’t go wrong with a treat box filled with Valentine’s Day cookies! Jamie Kamber filled this one with so many goodies, all of which are easy to make or purchase. If you decide to recreate this box, we recommend doing a little of both! Just be sure to include these adorable dipped wafer cookies!! Valentine’s Day Wafer Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

Strawberry wafer cookies
Almond bark (you could also use white chocolate chips or white candy melts)
Valentine’s Day Sprinkles
Parchment or wax paper

Directions:

1. Cover a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Set aside.

2. Melt the almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

3. Dip half of the wafer cookie into the melted almond bark. Shake off any excess. Place on prepared baking sheet and quickly top with sprinkles. Repeat until you run out of cookies or almond bark. Let dry at room temperature for 30 – 60 minutes, until coating has hardened. Best enjoyed immediately or within a few hours because the cookies will start to split as they dry out.
