We love our wine but definitely aren’t creatures of habit when it comes to choosing the right sip. Well, unless it falls on this list… Our Summer wine list is made up of light, refreshing, and pretty (ya, we said it) wines that are just right for the season. And that we keep going back to. See our picks and read on for wine-o and Thirsty Nest founder, Jackie Strum’s top choices!

Summer Water Rosé – There is a reason WINC’s rosé wine is called ‘Summer Water’. You will want to drink nothing else this season! It’s light, refreshing, and comes in the cutest packaging – we’re suckers for a cute & clean label. We like to enjoy it by the beach or out on the patio in the afternoon.
Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé: This rosé combines two of our favorite things; pink wine and bubbles. It’s the perfect choice for a summer special occasion or celebration.
Speak Wines 2015 Torrontes – Not only does this wine come with an encouraging, punny, or fun message on the bottle but also it’s delicious. It makes the perfect gift or the perfect sip on a sunny day.
Simpler Wines Italian Sparkling Wine – This canned wine (yes!!) is our new Trader Joe’s favorite! It comes in a convenient four pack of either sparkling white or sparkling rosé wine. What more could you want?! They are convenient to bring anywhere this summer and so delicious. Plus, you can’t beat the $3.99 price tag.
Empire Estate Dry Riesling – Riesling gets a bad rep and we have no idea why. This refreshingly dry fellow bursts with acidity, ginger and lemons to brighten even the sunniest Summer days. The screw cap makes it all the more picnic perfect.
Glen Carlou South African Chardonnay – This South African winner makes for a mouth filling gem on an afternoon al fresco with it’s green apples and ripe pear. It’s a true critical darling for the price.
Belle Glos Oeil de Perdrix Sonoma – Darker rosés are all the rage right now. They bring with them the same drinkable profile of an icy rosé with a bigger mouthfeel and gorgeous jewel tone.
Elouan 2014 Oregon Pinot Noir – Summertime wines aren’t all created white, pink and bubbly. Yes, even lighter reds have their place pool-side. Try this cooler climate Pinot Noir that has bright sour cherries without the weight of its darker California cousins.
LaLuca Prosecco DOC – Something bubbly only on the days that end in y seems plausible with this affordable, high quality, Prosecco. It doesn’t hurt that it comes in a beautiful sleek package. Beauty and brains? Sign us up!
