Lavender & Green Organic Dinner Party

This lavender and green organic dinner party will transport you to a serene garden setting! The lush venue is optimal for the organic theme. Elizabeth Orange Events helped Valeria Hinojosa, of Water Thru Skinthrow the all natural soiree. Here, she hosted her guests for a lavish dinner. Elizabeth created a tablescape as well as a comfy lounge that blended into the surroundings beautifully. She took being one with nature seriously and executed the vision so well! But that’s not all. What’s a party without food & drink?! They also served up all natural cocktails and an undoubtedly delicous vegan menu. See all the beauty below…

When Valeria Hinojosa came to us in search of the right spot for her all natural, organic dinner party, Samsara was a no brainer. Samsara is tucked away in what can only be described as the most spectacular tropical backyard. Upon walking into the first lush garden, you are instantly transported to Bali (or what we imagine Bali to be like!). The venue is a compilation of hand-crafted wooden pavilions surrounded by expansive gardens and tropical landscaping. Koi and lily ponds are just the beginning of this peaceful, serene and welcoming venue.

Valeria was looking for a setting to host an intimate dinner party for friends. We wanted to take her everyday blog focus and parlay that into a beautiful evening. We worked with the amazing team at Unearthed Vintage to hand select pieces that fit Valeria’s theme and personal style. This included wooden tables to stay in line with the natural vibe and copper chairs for a pop of shine. After the guests dined at the wooden farm table, we had set up a “low-key” lounge area surrounded by Moroccan poofs, shaggy rugs and jewel-toned pillows to keep the party going in a relaxed fashion.

For flowers, Anthology Co. created a natural, tropical, bohemian palette for the tablescape. Our goal was to use as much greenery as possible and then tie in some smaller details of gold, copper and shades of mauve. The papyrus (tall grasses) were our personal favorite! We opted to use as much natural light as possible. This meant calling the dinner for earlier in the evening (timed to sunset) and utilizing candles, votives and lanterns as much as we could. We wanted Valeria to feel like the true guest of honor that she was. Thus, we did a twist on the ever-popular flower crown and created a custom “flower comb.”

Bill Hansen catering created custom menus to fit Valeria’s vegan lifestyle. All food options on the menus, designed by Papel & Co., were both 100% vegan and organic. The custom place cards and menus were also designed to blend in with the earthy tones of the evening. Craft Cartel curated the bar featuring signature drinks based from all natural, vegan ingredients. These included strawberries, rhubarb, chilies and peppercorn. Finally, the delicious vegan cake, courtesy of the geniuses at Earth & Sugar, was a simple white, two-tiered buttercream topped with fresh flowers.

Valeria’s party was the perfect way to host an intimate, relaxed and fun celebration while keeping her everyday style, practices and values in mind.
