Today’s wedding is extra special to me because it is my sorority sister Ava’s! Ava went to the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) where she pledged Delta Gamma and when she moved down to Los Angeles we became friends through our LA Delta Gamma Alumni group. She decided that she wanted to get married to her now husband, Chip, up in Lake Tahoe in a gorgeous snowy, winter wedding! I’m absolutely obsessed with her amazing white faux fur bolero and her flowers are the perfect pop of color! There’s something so classic about the contrast of crisp white snow and earthy warm tones of maroons, browns, golds, ivories, and burgundies. Her bouquet is full of some of my favorites too, scabiosa pods, succulents, and rustic red peonies…the perfect combination for a winter wedding! The whole thing makes me want to sit next to a fireplace and toast the happy couple with a steaming cup of hot chocolate or better yet, mulled wine :- )

Woah! This is wedding is just so stunning. The photos, the flowers, the gown (oh I wish I could wear one) and most especially the couple, they are all dazzling with the snow falling on almost everything. It is a very fresh wedding idea and I just love the snow-covered panorama. I wish I could redo my wedding just like this one.
