This gorgeous engagement shoot comes from Sloan Photographers and is actually of one of Lauren’s friends who is getting married this October! Christina and Isaiah are getting married this October and are planning a gorgeous garden wedding. Christina loves to bake and actually made the cake in the shoot! AMAZING! Here’s what Christina had to say about how her and Isaiah met and what kind of wedding they are planning:
Isaiah and I met in spring 2009 through mutual friends (I pursued him first) haha. A year and a half later, we went to NYC and he proposed in the snow in Central Park. Since being engaged, I’ve been having fun planning the dream wedding I’ve always wanted… it’s October 8, in an outdoor garden, the colors are ivory and nude colors. The 5 bridesmaids all picked their own dress, all in nearly the same shade of ivory. I’m doing all white flowers, different types, and in different sized glass vases down long tables for the reception. We are having a large canopy for the reception, churros for dessert (since they are my FAVE). Isaiah and I are very different but also very similar… while he loves sports and I don’t know one thing about football, I love baking and he doesn’t even know how to crack an egg. Yet we both share the same sense of humor, the love of being together and traveling, and are both really excited and thrilled to be married soon!
After scouring wedding blogs for a year, I think this is far and away my favorite shoot! The colors, lighting, and her dress….perfect! I would love to know where she found that dress!
