I love it when brides do minimal makeup and go for the more natural look. One of my biggest pieces of advice for a bride is that you want to look like you in your wedding pictures. After all, these are going to be pics you’ll look back on for the rest of your life! When you get an amazing makeup artist who knows what they are doing (like these lovely ladies) you’re going to look like the most beautiful version of yourself! Take a look below at some of my favorite bridal makeup looks!

I fully agree with you… pictures can change dramatically depending on the bride´s make-up. Even the most beautiful bride can look “not so good” in the wedding pictures when the make-up is overdone. Please, future brides, instruct the make-up artist that you want to look NATURAL (yes, in capital letters)

Lovely make-up on all of these brides. I am so happy that I am able to make many many brides look like themselves on their wedding day, but a more made of version of that. Thanks for this post. Ashley(the first bride on this post) was such a joy to doll up. Isn’t she beautiful!!?

I am all for a natural look, but makeup definitely needs to be heightened a bit for photography purposes. Features need to be defined for a timeless classic look. The camera and flash can really blow out the features and make you look like you are wearing nothing! Even skin tone, a defined eye with liner, rosy blush, a touch of bronzer, and a finished lip will always make for a classic and beautiful bride!

Thank you so much for these great photos! Love the dressing and makeup of the 3rd photo the most :). I’m agree with you that minimal makeup looks best for bride’s photoshooting.
