Sunrise Beach Elopement

Who says you have to elope in Las Vegas or at the courthouse? This beach elopement on our wedding blog happened at sunrise and had a whole lot more going for it than an Elvis officiant and a little white dress. We’re talking about a beautiful big bouquet, a breakfast spread, and a getaway car adorned with a “Just Eloped” banner. We love this romantic and intimate wedding all about the bride and groom, and love how John Newsome captured it! Here’s what the creative team behind the beautiful morning had to say…

There is something so refreshing about an elopement. Forgetting all of the fuss and commotion that is usually involved with a big wedding and sneaking away with your sweetheart early in the morning to say “I do” is pretty much as romantic as it gets! The Glider Port in Torrey Pines offered a breathtaking backdrop that also allowed the beautifully simple details to show through. We loved adding details like the handmade oyster shell book to hold the vows and Lydia’s spin on a breakfast spread for this early morning coastal celebration!
