Put cocktail party and Maui in the same sentence and we’re there! That was just the thought Be Inspired PR had when they decided to throw their Tassels and Tastemakers event on the Hawaiian island. The bright and tropical cocktail party kicked off the first ever traveling Tassels and Tastemakers (previously taking place only in L.A. and New York) to bring together the best of the best in the wedding industry on the islands. Vendors came to be together as an industry, support each other, and work together. And for a good time, of course! With a tagline like “Tropic Like It’s Hot” who wouldn’t enjoy themselves?
The team at Be Inspired PR says, The inspiration for the event was a tropical-chic vibe, all in hues of pink with pops of yellow and gold. The bright colors paired with modern furniture let the backdrop really be the focus – the view was everything! Guests were invited to take part in a DIY styling table, where they could create their “dream table settings” from a variety of chargers, napkins, flatware, glassware, and plates. Because, what’s a wedding event without some creative Instagram styling?! Then, when the sun went down, it was all about the food stations, candy bar, custom cocktails, and dance floor. Cheers!
