Childress Vineyards‘ new pavilion wonderfully showcases the surrounding gorgeous landscape. Not wanting to overshadow the natural beauty of our surroundings, we kept the overall style simple but elegant and featured a series of five different vignettes – a reception table, a lushly decorated fireplace, a ceremony scape, a wine and cheese table in the vineyard, and a fun doughnut and dessert table to finish. Armed with antique plates as the initial inspiration, we aimed for a classic and timeless look but with a modern twist thanks to copper infused details such as Moscow mule mugs and metalwork lanterns. The florals were lush and rich with accents of real grapes to reflect the vineyard around us. Our hair and makeup artist Lindsey Enander Hedlin doubled as our bride along with her husband who graciously agreed to be our groom, which really added a level of genuine romance to the shoot. These two were the icing on the cake…or doughnuts rather!
