On Friday afternoon Mary Dann came into my office with a glossy hardbound wonderment-her first book! Rewind to 2008 Mary came to me and said that she had always wanted to write this book and wanted to elicit my help to facilitate her dream. Together we pieced together Wedding Wisdom which is a compilation of all of the advice Mary has been sharing with planners for years. The book is completely geared towards wedding planners but we are planning to also write one for the Bride to be. I couldn’t be happier with how the book turned out and am so happy for Mary as this is really a dream come true for us. There were so many other people that helped to make the book happen including Asgeir from Asgier fotographica, Elizabeth Messina, Danny Baker from Epic Imagery and Jasmine Star. You also may recognize the beauty on the cover-It’s Carissa from JL Designs looking radiant on her own wedding day. Margaret Yasuda from Mimio Papers did the fabulous front and back cover design. Some things that you will find in the book are: Time lines, budgets and Mary’s insight after 20 years in the business.
