Watermelon Mint Mojito Recipe

Labor Day calls for BBQs and the last of Summer-everything. Wearing white, pool days, summer fruits, and therefore summer cocktails. This Watermelon Mint Mojito on our lifestyle blog today will send off the sunny season with a splash of rum, a dash of mint, and a whole lot of everyone’s favorite melon. The pretty-in-pink cocktail is the perfect treat to bring to wherever you’re spending this break-from-work holiday. We forgot to mention: it’s incredibly refreshing! So, since we know that SoCal sun is going to be in full effect next Monday, you’ll definitely want to sip on this to stay cool.

 

Ingredients (serves 6):
  • Mini Watermelon
  • Light Rum
  • Club Soda
  • Mint leaves
  • 2 limes

Instructions:
1. Cut up a small watermelon into chunks and blend in a blender – we just got this Kenwood Hand Blender and love how low maintenance it is!
2. Pour the blended watermelon into a large pitcher
3. Pour in 12oz of light rum
4. Squeeze in the juice of 2 limes
5. Add half a liter of club soda
6. Add ice
7. Stir in a handful of fresh mint leaves
8. Rim your glasses with lime juice and sugar, and pour in the yummy concoction
9.  Garnish with mint on top and a lime slice on the rim & you have a pretty drink to enjoy this weekend!

  1. Wow such great styling and photography!! I made a mint mojito earlier this summer and found it so tricky to capture on camera. Maybe it was because I used a wood background. You have so many cute cocktail accessories!
