An amazing recipe: Grilling Favorite: Hatch Red Chile and Smoked Sage BBQ Spice Rub

It’s about that time of year…the last few weekends of beach parties, outdoor dinners, and sweatshirt free nights.  To finish it off right, we have another amazing recipe for you coming from the experts at Urban Palate for a BBQ spice rub that will blow your mind!  Take a peek below to see all of the delicious ingredients and easy steps to make this grilling favorite!

Be Prepared to Be Inspired…

Hatch Red Chile and Smoked Sage BBQ Spice Rub

1/2 lb dried hatch chili
1 T dried sage
1 T cumin seed
1/2 T whole coriander
1 T paprika
1 t smoked paprika
1 cinnamon stick ground
1 t salt
1/2 t whole black pepper

Toast hatch chilis in a pan over medium heat until fragrant.

Remove stems and seeds.

Toast cinnamon stick, coriander, pepper, cumin seeds over medium heat until fragrant.

Add all ingredients to spice mill and grind.

Coat your favorite protein with the rub, get grilling and enjoy!
