The Hawaiian beachfront was a picturesque backdrop for this watercolor wedding. The color palette matched the setting seamlessly and echoed the vibrant and fun theme the bride & groom were going for. Everything incorporated the mix of bright and soft colors from the florals (they’re incredible!) to the sunset to the stationery. A painting section, lawn games, and beachfront bar entertained guests while a floral arch, guacamole appetizers, and sea of palm trees captured their senses. What A Day! Photography captured all the dreamy details, convincing us to book a Hawaiian vacation ASAP.
From the photographer…
Bright flowers and watercolor accents created a wedding that exuded beauty, whimsy and fun! Lesley, Ryan, their cute little dog, family and friends cheerfully celebrated their Hawaii destination wedding at Sugarman estate in Makena, Maui. They wanted their guests to have fun and they did! A watercolor station, games and a flower path to the dance floor gave them no excuses not to celebrate the day! Ryan is a chef, so their love for food was an important aspect of the wedding. They incorporated making guacamole during the ceremony, with each ingrediant symbolizing important marriage tips. Then all guests took part in eating a bite of the guacamole with a chip and shot of tequila! It was the most unique and fun thing we have seen during a wedding ceremony!
