Feminine French Wedding Inspiration

Tufted couches and baby pink roses – yes and yes! This French wedding inspiration on our wedding blog is girly, chic, and stunning! Elle Elinghaus Designs dreamed up this magnificent shoot that just made our heart skip a beat. (Psst.. remember when she designed this pretty party?!) The couple and the decor look equally exquisite. And who doesn’t love a hanging wall of roses, a ruffled ball gown, or an array of pretty cakes?! Yes, it has it all. Here’s what inspired Elle…

One of my favorite things about styled shoots is being able to concentrate on my own vision…rather than a clients’ and I had visions of romance, a graceful sensuality, exquisite gowns, a glorious historic location and french lingerie dancing in my head. I will be honest, I am a girlie-girl and I have a love of anything feminine & pretty, so it wasn’t long until I started to oogle over the ideas for the shoot.

My team and I hung upside down roses over a tablescape of petite cakes and hand painted china for an adorable romantic dinner for two. Adding a tutu inspired table skirt was a flirty touch to this romantic shoot, and we paired it with a vintage gold ballroom chairs. It was such a graceful, playful and feminine day, perhaps one of my favorite days of work so far.

  1. Thank you so much for the feature! I had so much fun photographing this shoot!! 🙂

  2. Yikes! Why isn’t the groom wearing any socks? Looks so weird. LOL

I love the bride’s attire and the beautiful ring. But the rest of the wedding is way too girly girl. The wedding day should be about both the bride and groom and should look more grown up than this. It’s not a princess themed tea party.
