Our lovely friend, Elizabeth Messina, recently celebrated the launch of her new book, The Luminous Portrait, and we were so excited to join in on the fun! The Luminous Portrait, which is a go-to guide for capturing lush and romantic portraits in natural light, is full of tips on how to snap photos that are “lit from within.” No matter the type of photographs you are trying to achieve, Elizabeth definitely inspires readers with her award-winning images!
The stunning celebration (which was SUCH a blast!) was put together by our favorite party planner, Mindy Weiss, and it definitely did not disappoint. Beautiful vintage decor by Found Rentals and pretty flowers by Dolce Designs Studio filled the room, while DJ Shakee of Scratch Weddings kept the tunes rolling all night long! We couldn’t help but indulge in some cheesecake pops by Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach, One Hope Weddings wine and delectable Sweet Lucie’s ice cream… yum! We’d be lying if we said we didn’t take full advantage of the Mobile Photo Booth… we would’ve taken pictures all night long if we could!
At the end of the night, everyone left with super cute Wedding Chicks printed totes that were designed by Wiley Valentine… filled with lots of goodies, of course! We were so happy to participate in this amazing celebration with Elizabeth and friends, and we couldn’t imagine a more beautiful book launch. A big congrats to you, Elizabeth, sending lots of love your way!
