Rose Themed Girl's Birthday Party

This is the most decadent girl’s birthday party we’ve ever seen on our baby blog thanks to a Rose theme! Not one, but three cakes, all perfectly on point, covered in flowers, macaroons, and lacking frosting (aka the beloved naked cake trend we adore)! Although the desert is typically our favorite part of every party, the giant paper flowers and flower crowns are battling for our attention! 10-year-olds never looked so high fashion than these little beauties in their cream outfits and bright accessories – we’re talking about the big round balloons and colorful roses they carried around. What girl wouldn’t want to run around outside with sweet friends, sweet treats, and flowers in her hair?! The birthday gal’s creative mom and designer at The Sugar Studio had the perfect inspiration and execution for this rosy party and we’re so happy she shared it with us here:

For as long as we can remember my best friend Keely and I have wanted to throw a rose themed party for my daughter Chloe Rose. The best part about making mom friends when your kids are just babies are the memories that you get to create together not only as adults but for the children as well. Our recent family trip to Paris put this party in full gear when we stumbled upon a shop called Au Nom de la Rose. A shop dedicated to all things roses! We wanted to keep the party modern so we added we opted for rainbow roses for the color pallette and mini lucite chairs for the decor.

To keep this party intimate we had a tiny guest list so the girls could really enjoy the day. The guest indulged in rose flavored treats which included a jumbo macaron cake filled with lychee and rose cream, rose scented petite macarons and birthday cake with rose jam. The afternoon was spent telling secrets, tossing confetti (a crowd favorite and now mandatory at all parties) and romping around in the rose petals. In lieu of the traditional goodie bag the girls took home giant paper roses and their floral crowns as a party favor.
