Pink and Gold Nursery Inspiration

How adorable is this little one in her yellow knickers and knotted headband?! She looks cozy in all her cuteness on that soft white rug that is just the beginning of all the goodness in this nursery! Little baby clothes are the cutest so why not put them on display in both a gallery wall and a bookcase closet?! New mamma and photographer Rachel Maucieri had the eye and the inspiration to make her baby’s nursery a dream! I mean how creative is that homemade tassel mobile (tassels are our fave!)! Here’s how the design came about:

I had so much fun decorating my little girl, Judeth Lyn’s nursery. I have been dreaming of decorating my child’s nursery for so long now and I was overjoyed to find out we were having a precious baby girl. Being a photographer and a chaser of light, I knew that a bright room with excellent window light was a must. Whites and neutrals with some splashes of soft pinks and golds were an obvious decision for me. Peter Pan is my favorite story and has been my whole life so I knew I wanted to incorporate J.M. Barrie’s brilliant fairytale into my little girl’s room. I wanted to bring the overall feel and inspiration of Peter Pan and a woodland theme into her nursery. I am inspired by good stories, imagination, soft window light, and now, my baby girl. The most precious thing to me is seeing and hearing Judeth playing in her crib underneath the mobile that her grandmother and I made for her. She loves her room and my hope is that as she grows it would help cultivate an imaginative spirit in my darling girl. This nursery is such a dream and it is very fitting for sweet baby Jude.
