Bright Garden First Birthday Party

The necessities for a first birthday party? Make it fun and make it sweet! Sonia Events mastered both with this bright garden birthday party for her adorable 1-year-old! With brightly colored paper flowers and pillows, and (color blocked!) flower arrangements that were equally colorful, the party was perfect for the happy little girl. How could you not smile all party long?! Especially with a dessert display like that! Susie Cakes‘ cucpakes, brownies, and a pretty seafoam cake topped with a custom “Sophia is One” topper not only look amazing but no doubt tasted great too! The fun ribbon borders on the desert displays and floral centerpieces added the cutest final touch and mimicked the birthday girl’s adorable cake smash hat! For Sophia’s 1st Birthday Party, I was inspired by a cake smash hat that I purchased on etsy.com. The colors, textures and pom poms on the hat were fun and cute, just like baby Sophia. To keep the party vibe relaxed but vibrant we decided to use garden furniture in white and add pops of color with the florals and pillows. This party was as fun and relaxed as a an afternoon in Palm Springs!
