This “Choo Choo Train” birthday party on our baby blog today is a little boy’s dream celebration. Revelry Street decorated a real train car with red, white, black, and blue tassels and paper honeycombs and went ham on the train puns when it came to food, dessert, and decor! The kids munched on popcorn and played with toy trains in addition to all the fun activities set up for them! Everyone ended the day with a quintessential choo choo train ride through the park.
From Tali of Revelry Street…
CHOO CHOO…JORDAN IS TWO TWO! Inside the decorated train car, the “mini conductors” could get crafty with customized coloring pages, munch on some choo choo treats including “coal” licorice, pretzel “logs”, and train wheel pasta, visit the “feuling station”, or have some sweet treats such as traffic light fruit kebabs, traffic light brownies, bandana wrapped candies, or railroad cookies and cupcakes. The (simple) DIY plates were made to look a railroad sign while custom confetti and a long honeycomb ball centerpiece lined the tables. A train set play area was set up outdoors along with a train conductor entertainer for some fun interactive activities and games. In addition to train themed photo props, you could also snap a pic with a giant cut out of the birthday boy! Before heading on the train ride, guests checked into “baggage claim” where they picked u! p their train whistle, conductor hat, and bandana…ALL ABOARD!
