All these pies are really inspiring us to throw party in honor of the all-American dessert! Yummm! But really don’t you wanna dig right in to those “mudslide pie dessert shots” ?! Or the array of lobster mac ‘n cheese cutie pies, shrimp and crab salad tartlettes, and ham and gruyere hand pies?! The list goes on (but really it does!) of sweet and savory pie variations – ya we didn’t know pie came in so many ways either! Even the cake pops were turned into pie shaped goodies, but why settle for one kind of pop with blackberry pie pops are also on the menu! All these interpretations of this classic-turned-trendy dessert from Windows Catering and Freshly Baked have our mouths watering! These tasty bites also had the perfect Vintage America setting on the porch of a historic 1910 American Foursquare home in suburban Washington, D.C. atop milk glass cake stands and in antique mason jars. Handmade paper pinwheels and cupcake-liner paper flowers added to the list of homemade goodies and the wooden crates and a found antique hutch created the vintage vibe. With the porch adorned in colorful red, white, and blue fabric runners and flag banners this pie party salutes the all-American dessert!
