As we finish going down the list of Best Picture nominees, we’re prepping to see who takes home the golden man with an Oscars viewing party of course on our lifestyle blog! Beijos Events hosted this popcorn & cocktail filled affair that we’ll be recreating this Sunday for the real deal! Use this fun ballot to cast your votes and enjoy!
We love the Oscars! We love getting all of our girls together to watch the red carpet, see who wins and loses, and of course drink some cocktails and eat some yummy treats whilst gossiping! It’s the perfect girls night in! This year we stepped it up a notch and styled our party to more than just ordering a pizza and paper plates, we wanted something just as glam as the Oscars themselves!
We were inspired by the Pantone color of the year, Marsala, which we paired with metallics like gold and copper! Honey Hue Paper Co created the perfect invite to send out to our favorite gal pals, cute signage for all the delicious food & drink, and our very own ballot! Flowers by Mae Mae added the perfect florals to adorn the party and dress it up a bit, we loved the color of the flowers and the wild feel of them. And us girls lounged around our floor to watch the show on our favorite pillows by Boho Pillow, that girl has THE best collection we just swoon over…
For drinks we did a super tasty grapefruit and thyme vodka cocktail which were in the cutest pink glassware we just picked up from CB2. For food we did a blackberry, basil & goat cheese grilled cheese and rosemary buttered popcorn, both a usual basic food dressed up into something tastier and fancier!
