Happy Friday Guys...I hope your week has been fabulous...I've been longing for Spring flowers...lots of pretty pinks, yellows and greens! Hi Guys....it's "Throwback Thursday" at the cafe and we're starting the day off with the beautiful wedding story of Kahran & Regis...their wedding is filled with so many lovely details...Kahran said their inspiration was "Natural Glam"...they had lots of natural/eco-friendly elements such as branches and paper flowers, mixed in with a touch of vintage glam!
With the help of Kahran & Regis' AMAZING planner, Toni Friday of Events Boutique and with lots of purchases from wonderful Etsy artists, their wedding was totally "picture perfect"....and get this...they didn't even have a floral designer, Toni designed all the centerpieces and Kahran's bouquet was handmade by an artist on Etsy!
Capturing all the beauty on their wedding day is Caroline Fontenot Photography and second shooting with Caroline, Ben Massey....Caroline's work is simply beautiful....I'm so happy to have her stop by the cafe today.....and as always, I'm excited to be sharing their wedding with our friends over at Essence Magazine On-line.....Enjoy!!

| Happy Monday Guys...hope you all had a wonderful weekend...2013 was such a busy year for me...not busy wedding, it was busy full-time job and life lessons....so busy in fact, that I totally forgot to share a beautiful wedding I had the pleasure of being a part of....so, let me start off by apologizing to the AMAZING photographers, wife and husband team, Anne and Bill Holland of Holland Photo Arts. Thanks so much for sending all the lovely images over....Healy & Tim's wedding story took place at her parent's home, a private Virginia Estate....and I must share that Healy and her parents were the nicest clients and their home was simply beautiful! | Happy Friday Guys....It's so cold here today...I'm longing for warm weather and pretty blooms...so until then, I'll just have to enjoy this pretty ranunculus floral wreath and floral ring designed by me...aka...JMFlora Design....and captured by Marta Locklear...I love Marta's work and she is the coolest lady.....our beautiful model is Marta's daughter...have a lovely day and a great weekend everyone...stay warm!!...xoxoxo

| Happy Thursday Guys...a few months ago, I received a box of gerber/gerbera daisies....the selection was filled with bright shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows. With the gerbers, came the prettiest wedding garland made from smilax....the garland was so perfect and the leaves were the perfect shade of green, so vibrant and full! So, what's a girl to do with a box of gerbers and wedding garland....how about enhancing the garland with the gerbers and filling bud vases (purchased from the craft store) with 3-4 stems of gerbers.....and as you can see, that's exactly what I did. The end results...a pretty floral garland for a wedding, a baby shower, dinner party, any occasion that you choose and you can give your guest a gerber filled bud vase at the end of the night!!
