3 DIY Face-Masks to Help Your Skin Glow This Winter

With winter comes dry skin.¬†Anyone else starting to feel sort of… scaley? It’s a pain to wear makeup when your skin is flaking off, so we searched high & low for the best ingredients to create DIY face-masks at home. These DIY face masks will moisturize, soothe, & give a natural glow to your skin this winter.

.01 – Avocado Honey Heaven

What you’ll need:
1/2 to 1 avocado
2 tbs raw honey
a handful of oats
a dash of cinnamon

Instructions: Mash all of these ingredients together for an ultra lush, moisturizing mask that you can make from your pantry! Leave on face for at least 10 minutes.

.02 – Mocha Moves

What you’ll need:
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup coffee grounds
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
a spoonful of honey
coconut water as needed (to thin)

Instructions: Mix all of these ingredients together & prepare for a deep exfoliation thanks to the coffee grounds! Plus hydrating benefits from the coconut water! Leave on face for at least 10 minutes.

.03 – Blend that Banana

What you’ll need:
1 banana
1 tablespoon oats
4 tablespoons yogurt
a dash of turmeric

Instructions: Blend or mash a banana very well, and then add the rest of the ingredients. Leave on face for at least 10 minutes.
