This light blue wedding inspiration is delicate, sweet, and stunning! Between the ribbons and blue thistle in the bouquets to the stationery and even the lounge furniture, the bride’s ‘something blue’ was well covered. And although the skies are gray, she looks as bright as ever! In part, no doubt, to the jaw dropping ball gown she wore! Below, photographer Kir Tuben shares a bit about this couple’s love story and why it made this shoot so special.
This shoot was inspired by out couple Wynn and SK. The two are planning a full wedding out of country so this was their way of celebrating their love where they first met in Virginia. The two met four years ago at a local bar. Wynn said “SK was wearing an interesting outfit that stood our from everyone else, which I vividly remember… not to mention the hottest guy there. We locked eyes for a brief second, and the rest was history!”
For her, there was not a particular moment she knew he was the one for her but “a continuous sequence of beautiful memories that keep us glued.” Their passion for travel and complete opposite personalities that keeps them learning & growing to together.
Speaking of their love for travel, SK proposed in Europe. They had just arrived at a medieval castle in France on a beautiful day in July. He is a bit of a tech nerd and decided to work it into this big question. SK was flying his drone and she was wearing a headset that streamed live video from the drone camera. In awe of this cool gadget on her head, her gadget obsessed fiancé set the drone on still mode facing her direction and he dropped down on one knee. She witnessed the entire event in 3rd person from the sky! This magical moment left her in complete shock and is a moment she will cherish forever.
