If Barbie had a bridal shower… Can’t you picture it?! Well, you don’t have to, because this pineapples and prosecco bridal shower is just what Bride Barbie would pick! Naturally, it’s decked out in pink and couldn’t possibly be more fun. Details Darling’s darlings planned the perfect tropical fete for their pretty-in-pink-and-sequins bride to be. They showered her with palm fronds and peacock chairs, pineapple donuts, and plenty of prosecco, of course.
Aubrey at Details Darling says, If Barbie were to design a bridal shower in Hawaii, this would be it! When Taylor said she wanted a tropical bridal shower, we immediately knew we had to design something that would stand out. We wanted the shower to embody exactly who the bride is: fun, bright, and girl. We’ve been dying to DIY some fun pieces and this was the perfect opportunity! We dip dyed 50 napkins bright pink and decorated Dunkin Donuts to look like yummy pineapples.
Penelope Pots did an amazing job bringing in pops of bright colors via the florals, but kept it classy and clean by spray painting some of the tropical pieces white. Sundrop Vintage provided the perfect green velvet couch to serve as our photo lounge. And their gold and pink glassware was too cute for the ‘Pineapples + Prosecco’ bar.
Finally, guests raved about their bright pink bottled rosé favors from Bev, and mini pineapple candles from West Elm, that they received at the end of the shower!
