One Year Anniversary Garden Dinner

We believe there is always something to celebrate, be it small or big and the first anniversary of marriage falls under the latter! Elise and Michael of Brannan Events & Design knew they wanted to celebrate with something special, intimate, and all about them. So they put together a beautiful one year anniversary garden dinner and photoshoot with Danielle Poff Photography. Can we just say, it turned out beautifully! We’re honored to be able to peek into their special evening full of  yummy cake, their sweet pups, and a romantic candlelit table.

Elise and Michael Brannan, of Brannan Events & Design, wanted to celebrate their one year anniversary by documenting it at their home with their fur babies! They were married May 13th of 2016, at an intimate redwoods celebration at Griffith Woods in Sonoma County.

Their anniversary shoot was shot in their backyard in the Bay Area! Danielle Poff photography perfectly captured their intimate sweetheart table dinner with a a fun and fresh color palette of dusty blue, pink and magenta with pops of greenery and gold! These napkins (hot off the press from La Tavola’s 2017 collection) were a central inspiration for the tables’ design. Rosé with a fresh rosemary sprig (right from their garden!), artisanal cheeses, and fruit made for a decadent meal!
What’s a one year anniversary celebration without the top layer of your wedding cake?! Well, one of the main reasons Michael and Elise selected Sweetie Pies Bakery in Napa (other than their delicious sweets) is because they gift you a freshly made top layer of your wedding cake! The dessert spread was also playing homage to their wedding as they used their original cake knife and server. The “Treat Yo Self” calligraphy sign was also from their wedding because why not always Treat Yo Self?!

Intimate portraits were taken in their mustard field towards the back of their property and made for the most dreamy sunset pictures!
