Joshua Tree Bridal Shower Tea

The rocky landscape of Joshua Tree got livened up a bit with this bridal shower tea on our wedding blog today! We love the out-of-the-box idea Dana Grant Photography came up with to have this shower at such a serene and natural setting. The fluffy pillows this bride and her gals sat on and flowers they wore in their hair softened the desert terrain while their sparkly outfits gave it the glitz every bridal shower deserves! What else a bridal shower, and especially a tea party, needs? Sweets, of course! Doughnuts and mint macarons complimented the tea perfectly. Dana along with Rebecca June Design filled us in on their inspiration for the shower and how her boho dreams came to life.

We thought Joshua Tree would be perfect place to set up a cute little bridal shower tea party. And we really did have a fun party up on the rocks. The girls drank tea and ate yummy Sidecar doughnuts and had a merry time! Our bride wore a copper crown, which separated her from the bridesmaids wearing floral crowns.

We wanted the theme to feel a little boho but with a twist. The goal was to have it all feel natural and like part of the landscape, which is why we stuck with golds, whites, and natural accents for the table settings. The florals were meant to echo the colors of the desert sunset of Joshua Tree.

  1. I loved being involved in this shoot in more ways than one. Dana had wanted to do a shoot in Joshua Tree and together we made the idea come to life. Everyone was amazing to work with and I think somehow we all had the same vision in our heads. It was magical! xo
