Lavender Infused San Francisco Engagement

This Love of Yours Photography sent us these amazing, swoon worthy images of a couple clearly in love. They both live in San Francisco but will be married in Seattle where Yangchen is originally from (another gorgeous city we love)! When we asked the bride to be to tell us a little bit about their love story, this is what she said…

Tsering and I met when I was in college, at the start of my senior year in 2006, through mutual friends. We started hanging out and then dated pretty soon thereafter. We lived together for a while before we got engaged – funnily enough, neither of us can remember an exact “proposal” moment when he asked me, at some point we sort of agreed/knew we were going to get married. Not the most romantic, but it’s the truth! We just became best friends over time and couldn’t imagine spending life with anyone else. I do remember we decided to tell my parents during a trip up to Seattle for Christmas in 2010, and that’s when he gave me the ring (Tsering had it shipped up there). Needless to say it’s been a long engagement – we wanted to wait until I was done with law school before getting married. Now I’m in the process of preparing for the bar exam in July and the wedding in August, and things could not be more hectic! But we’re both so excited to finally be getting married because a lot of family will be coming from all over the world, including Tsering’s parents, who he hasn’t seen in 10 years!
