We’re screaming for this ice cream parlor engagement shoot on our wedding blog today like we scream for ice cream. Yes, we went there. The shoot exudes sweetness in every respect – the pink polka dot balloons, the sprinkle covered ice cream cones, and the soon-to-be married couple! After snapping a few shots at the perfect parlor, the took a little bike ride and showered themselves in confetti. Vintage decor and outfits added an authentic ice cream parlor flair to the shoot enhanced by milk bottles and a turquoise and hot pink color scheme. Watch their love play out through these fun photos captured by Sean Carr, and styled and narrated by Kismet & Clover.
We had the delight of styling Emily + Jordan’s sweet and playful engagement photo shoot, which took place at a vintage ice cream parlor in the heart of historic Victoria, BC, Canada. Emily’s love for treats and all things modern chic are what inspired us to go along with an authentic ice cream parlor theme. From Emily’s strappy sandals and vintage inspired up-do, to Jordan’s classically plaid shirt and ease at holding pink balloons, to the locally made ice cream and explosions of confetti, we tried to capture their total goofiness and the undeniably adorable adoration for one another.
We used authentic vintage antique decor pieces and accents to create an ice cream bar station and to adorn an outdoor patio seating area. We used reds, blues and shades of pink to guide our overall vision. So much fun was had at this totally unique photo shoot, not to mention a whole lot of ice cream was consumed throughout the process – we truly hope you adore the photos as much as we do!
