Inspired by Jennifer Stein from Destination I Do Magazine

With a closet full of sassy shoes and a cornucopia of experience Jennifer Stein is a Rock Star in the wedding magazine world. As the current Editor in Chief, Publisher and Co-Owner of Destination I Do Magazine and Destination Media, LLC we are so lucky to have Jennifer contributing her fabulous skills to the wonderful world of publishing weddings.

Jennifer found her niche and focus on destination weddings when she was planning for her own and noticed there were few resources and no magazines dedicated to destination planning. So she and her business partner Carolyn Steere began Destination Media, and the magazine came about quickly after. You can now find their bright idea on news stands throughout all 50 states and 14 countries around the world. Way to go ladies!

Jennifer draws inspiration from both the couples getting married and the vendors that make it all happen. She says, “I’m astonished by the amount of creativity and talent there is in our industry. It seems like there is a fresh take on weddings now and I must say, I’m overjoyed! When we get our wedding submissions, I find myself getting teary-eyed looking at a complete strangers wedding images. When that happens I think, “wow, that’s a good photographer to evoke emotion from someone who doesn’t even know this couple!”

Jennifer shared this with us, “Right now at Destination I Do, we are loving : Anything yellow, dog-friendly weddings, picnic wedding receptions, gourmet all-inclusive resorts that only charge a set-up fee for the reception (Grand Velas in Riviera Maya is one), giving back by getting (registering for a charity vs gifts), smart spending – hiring professionals (wedding planners, photographers etc.) and DIY in areas a bride can handle – favors, invites, gift bags etc.” With those glimpses into Jennifer and the magazine, we are all dying for more and can find it-daily by following Destination I Do on twitter and their blog!
