Inspired by Desert Weddings

I am not sure if it is the gray sky or the cooler temps but I am wanting to be nice and cozy somewhere right now, which made me think of the desert and with one thought usually a wedding relating thought follows. I love the juxtaposition of a soft white wedding dress against the stark golden terrain in desert weddings. I love that the desert is seemly dead but animals and plants abound..sometimes they are just harder to find. Its a mysterious and beautiful place. Below are some weddings inspired by the desert and its native plants. I hope you enjoy!

  1. This is definatly a much needed post. Wishing I could be in all those places right now! Can you believe it’s in the 40’s here in Boston?! Yuck!!

  2. The soft and the hard details all in the same picture make it very interesting to look at. I especially love the 7th picture down.

  3. This post makes me all warm inside 🙂 You think in the 40’s is cold Kimmy? It’s in the 30’s here in PA and calling for snow tonight!! What happened to Fall??

  4. I LOVE the table numbers with the succulents! i’m so into those right now! looks like such an easy but beautiful DIY centerpiece.

  5. DANGIT Leila! I have the coooolest desert session that I’m keeping under wraps right now so I can push it to publish. Woulda fit perfect. Dying for it all. I want to work in Palm Springs like all the time. Lovely [as always].
