How to throw an at-home wedding fiesta to celebrate your original date

Our hearts have been aching for brides everywhere that have had to postpone their wedding dates because of COVID-19. But today, we wanted to brighten up your spirits with the perfect way to celebrate your original date: an at-home wedding fiesta, complete with the most fun and festive drinks! Your original wedding date is still special, so it should be celebrated in some way, even if it’s not how you originally planned! We’re obsessed with the idea of having a fiesta at home to add some vibrant, colorful joy back into your life right now! Scroll down to see all of the fun details, like custom cocktails, vivacious florals, and (of course!) a cheese board complete with tons of salsa.

The photographer shares:

With all the weddings that are getting postponed, we’ve thought of an idea that could cheer up lovely couples all over the world. Postponing the wedding is a hard thing to do but it’s the bravest and kindest decision to make as it considers everyone’s safety and health. With this shoot we wanted to give couples a reason to celebrate in style (while keeping safe, of course!).

Why not have an at-home summer wedding fiesta to celebrate your original wedding date? It’s still something to celebrate and you can still make this day full of love! These days, you have to be more innovative. Nowadays, I have discovered this amazing method to keep creating the most amazing event designs with my fellow creatives: doing our virtual shoots with almost zero physical interaction.

For this wedding fiesta celeb design blast, we focused on the liveliest summer colors and the most gorgeous tablescapes. All following the latest design trends of 2020, this shoot can definitely be used all year long in different celebrations. The secret? Each vendor showcased their best works. We used the best floral designs and the prettiest cake, hand-lettered designs, lounge styling, and put effort in making the celebratory elements of May translate through the photos! Of course, let’s make it extra fancy with some charcuterie.

To top it all off, like what we did in this shoot, everyone at home can also have a fancy and lively celebration by using the finest table linens and silk velvet ribbons. And while you can’t invite tons of guests, it’s time to take the most awesome photos of your tablescapes so everyone can virtually celebrate with you! So in love with this shoot where lively colors met elegant elements and the rest was just magic that was done by a collective team effort.
