Us IBT girls are always looking for fun travel destinations great for quick weekend getaways! Scottsdale, Arizona tops our list for the a spring getaway for multiple reasons. We’re talking warm weather, trendy restaurants and endless activities – the recipe for the perfect weekend! Not to mention, Spring Training is in full swing in March for any baseball fans out there! Our travel guide to Scottsdale details all the ‘best-ofs’ you won’t want to miss out on!

The Saguaro: This bright and trendy hotel hotspot will instantly step up your Instagram game. Cool off in the pool with a margarita or relax at the spa, either way you’ll never want to leave. It’s close proximity to downtown Scottsdale making it super easy to get to the city’s best restaurants and entertainment options.

Hotel Valley Ho: If you’re looking for more of a cool, minimalist-type hotel, look no further then Hotel Valley Ho. Known as the “true Hollywood hideaway” back in the day, this hotel is fit for a celeb. Its mid-century-vibes, spa, pool and restaurant, you’ll have the best time at this iconic hotel.

Where to Eat:

Original ChopShop: To the locals, this is the one-stop-shop for healthy and delicious eats. Fresh juices, farm-t0-table dishes and a casual atmosphere make this the ideal place for lunch!

D’Lite: If you’re looking for a quick bite and coffee in the morning, look no further than d’lite. The must try menu selections: California Club and Breakfast Buzz…they will keep you coming back!

Postino: When we heard about a wine bar + bruschetta restaurant, we knew we had to try it. Postino’s wide array of bruschetta selections and amazing wine list made all of our dreams come true.

Culinary Dropout: Soft pretzels with fondue. Cold beer. Creative cocktails. Does it get anymore delightful? The gastropug ambience and lawn games in the courtyard make this the most fun place to grab delicious food with friends!

Olive & Ivy: The bustling atmosphere and delicious Mediterannean-inspired cuisine makes Olive & Ivy the ideal dinner spot. Opt to sit out on the beautiful outdoor patio under the shady trees for an aura like the South of France!

The Baked Bear: These monstrous ice cream sandwiches are what dreams are made of. You have the choice between dozens of original ice cream flavors to sandwich between fresh-baked cookies, brownies, or even donuts. If that’s not enough, you can roll it through toppings ranging from sprinkles, Fruity Pebbles or Oreo crumble. Yes. Please.

What to Do: 

Spring Training Games: See your favorite west coast Major League Baseball teams battle it out under the warm Arizona sun from February 24th through March 31st. Whether you pick stadium or lawn seats, you get an intimate experience with major league teams that you normally don’t get!

Hike Camelback: To work off all of the delicious eats during this trip, a hike up Camelback mountain may be necessary! The trek is worth the sprawling views of the valley.

Top Golf: A multi-level, high-tech driving range that brings some fun to the golf game! Score points by hitting certain targets or just play for fun, either way its drinks and games make this a popular destination in the valley!
