Inspired by Leo Patrone Photography

Today (and everyday!) we love the amazing photographer Leo Patrone. My team and I have had the chance to get to know him and work with him and I have to say that he is one of  the sweetest people in the industry! No ego, just pure talent. You can really tell that he loves what he does, it comes across in his gorgeous work. Here’s the story behind the artist:

I was born in Argentina and moved to the US when I was 14. I had always been interested in art and music, but after I shot a Canon AE1 for the first time, I fell in love with photography. My approach to photography is fine art, and I shoot exclusively with film, because I love its timeless look and feel. I have a unique process: I shoot every event myself, and I personally develop and scan all of my own film. Having control over the whole process ensures that my images have a consistent quality, color, look, and feel. I love shooting weddings worldwide; I’ve photographed events in Italy, Spain, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Argentina and all over the US. When shooting weddings, my main goal is to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, so they can be themselves and have photographs that make them happy and reflect their unique personalities.

Leila

Besides my wedding I have a whole weekend of events planned with wonderful vendors as well! A church wedding, rehearsal dinner, and welcome reception to greet guests as they come into town. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful (and stressful) this wedding planning process has been. I’m so thankful to everyone who helped and to all my amazing vendors who provided their services to me. I am so excited to get married this weekend and be off on my honeymoon!  Below I am sharing my vendors for the weekend events prior to the wedding on Saturday.

Jessica Claire: I’m honored to have Jessica Claire shoot my church wedding. Her blog is one of my daily reads and her creative wedding has been an office favorite ever since it blogged and shared with all of us.  I’ve admired her work for a long time and she even photographed my LA bridal shower which will be featured this summer in Bridal Guide . I’m grateful to have her as one of my vendors!

Cana Video Production: Cool, calm and talented is how I describe Ben and Drew of Cana Video Production! They are two smart, funny and creative guys, we even featured Ben’s sweet surprise proposal on our blog! So cute! I can’t wait to see what they come up with. Check out their blog to see some of their amazing videos!

Cameron Ingalls: Cameron has been a favorite of mine since my blog has started. He has even been featured numerous times on our blog. (Check them our here and here) His creative way of capturing images is what made me want to hire him as one of my dream team of vendors! I can’t wait to see the amazing images he captures of my special event!
