Italy | Inspired by This Blog

I’m married! It’s been a whirlwind these past few months but we finally did it! I don’t have any sneak peaks of the wedding photos yet but here are some of the special things me and my husband (so fun saying that!) are going to be seeing while we’re in Italy! Coming up will be some guest posts by some of my favorite people in the industry like Wedding Bee, 100 Layercake, Snippet and Ink, Inside Weddings, The Knot, Green Wedding Shoes, The Bride’s Cafe and more! Stay tuned for that! You may also see some guest tweets from my account by the girls in my office and I may tweet a few pictures of the wonderful sights I’m seeing but don’t worry I will be doing no work while I’m away! Just me, my wonderful husband, some pizza, pasta and wine for the next few weeks, just what the doctor ordered! Ciao!

I LOVE surprises… Especially when they’re captured by a camera! Ryan, the groom, coordinated this surprise proposal and engagement session in Rome all the way from Texas! The amazing photographer, Rochelle owner of Rome Italy Weddings , helped Ryan find the best spot in the city to pop the question. She says, “I felt like the paparazzi hiding behind trees while taking pictures of the proposal!”

He definitely wins the prize for most romantic proposal of the year! I just love how natural and sweet this couple is together, don’t they look like models?! Rome is such a romantic city and I can’t wait to explore it during a stopover on my honeymoon!
