I get so inspired by the Hostess with the Mostess blog. I just love looking at it for daily party inspiration! And now that I am a new home owner I can really get into becoming a better hostess! I’m so excited to see what inspires them!

Inspired By This is always full of gorgeous eye candy, and I’m honored to be contributing here today! I chose the topic of “Inspired by… Designer Gift Wrap”.

The first thing I do when designing a new party or wedding theme is search for a key piece of inspiration to set the tone for the entire party. This can be anything from a cool cocktail or beautiful flower arrangement to a fabulous piece of jewelry, but stationery products are almost always my first go-to place. There are so many fabulous patterns and colors to be found in stylish gift wrap & decorative papers… and with new designs popping up all the time, the sky’s the limit when it comes to inspiration!

Here are a couple examples of wedding themes inspired by designer gift wrap: a romantic-meets-glam Pink/Yellow/Gold theme based on Hello Lucky’s chic Chairs wrap, and a contemporary Yellow/Gray/White theme inspired by Egg Press’s bold Blip and Yellow Rocks designs.
