Wed, Dwell, Grow Fashion: Small Fry Blog

We’re so excited to introduce you to some of our very favorite mommy bloggers today: Emily, Nicole, and Jenna, the fabulous ladies behind Small Fry Blog!  As part of our Wed, Dwell, Grow Fashion series, they’re giving you a peek inside what they would wear as a wedding guest, when entertaining at home, and just as an everyday mom.

Be Prepared to Be Inspired…

[J.Crew skirt/ Striped Chiffon Top/ Dolce Vita wedges]

From Emily:

Summer is wedding season around these parts and we find ourselves at them monthly. I’ve found that having a good collection of pencil skirts is the secret to my success for any business casual, Sunday best, or formal attire functions. Throw on a striped chiffon top for a little bit of interest and polish (cotton tops wrinkle and lose their shape too fast in the heat!) and Summery espadrille sandals.

[J.Crew Eyelet Cap Sleeve (similar here)/ Lena Flip Flop]

From Nicole:

For throwing a party, a simple and Summery dress is all I need to feel my best, the less articles and items of clothing I need to worry about the better. And as much as I’d love to float around a dinner party in my favorite sky high wedges, if I’m hosting, I need to be quick on my feet. I’ve lived in these Lena flip flops from Target. I love that simple gold metal detailing at the toe, it keeps them looking party-ready even though they’re only flip flops!

[J.Crew Blythe Blouse/ J.Crew Minnies/ Sam Edelman Gigi Cheetah]

From Jenna:

For the days when it’s preschool drop offs and soccer games, I love a loose fitting top like the Blythe blouse and trousers with a good stretch but still well shaped like the Minnie. Jcrew does perfectly easy clothes so well! I love and live in my Sam Edelman’s in the Summer, they’re a must have!
