Last weekend we had the chance to attend an amazing event produced by Caravents for Target! Target Beauty just launched a premium skincare line including amazing brands like Borghese, Laneige, La Roche-Posay, 29 by Lidia Mondavi, Vichy, Own, and MD Complete. The party was built into experience areas the way women use skin care: Rise & Shine, Fun in the Sun, Bedtime Beauty and Forever Flawless. Each area was designed into a visual feast to communicate the time of day or season we use specific products. We all received a custom canvas clutch upon arrival and then went around to the four main experience areas to collect full size premium skincare goodies from TargetStyle’s new featured lines! At each experience area there were product experts / Target Beauty Concierges to speak with guests one on one and recommend the right products for each guest.
Rise and Shine had all the products associated with the morning ritual. Cleansers, creams, moisterizer with sunscreen, depuffing eye cream, etc. This area was brought to life with bright citrus accents and natural elements all communicating a fresh, clean start to the day! This included custom chandeliers made out of dehydrated orange slices, hanging from a wood and sheer drape structure, backyard swings entwined in citrus leaves as product displays, and natural accents to give an overall refreshing, clean and brightening look and feel to the space.
Fun In The Sun was all about skin sun care and safety. Beautiful suncreens for face and body, creams with SPF, post sun care products – everything you need for a perfect summer ahead! A gorgeous custom installation of turquoise sun parasols anchored this area staged by the pool of the Beverly Hills estate. Clean whites and bright turquoise accents created a cool oasis in the sun. Fun in the sun was also about products that reverse sun damage (so important!).
Bedtime Beauty was staged in an elaborate cabana/tent, created to look like a romantic and peaceful boudoir. Moroccan accents, wood, and organic woven cloth created an ethereal moment for guests to approach the boudoir area and sample all of the night creams, and overnight miracle makers on display.
Forever Flawless was staged inside of the guest home, right by the pool. Featuring all products that address keeping skin flawless from both acne and age. This serene, sunlit room featured cool cornflower blue accents and off white shades, with a strinking floral head and washi tape wall in the center, one of the most photographed/ instagrammed moments of the day!
Caravents worked with HeirloomLA to create a custom “Beauty Foods” menu. Each experience area had a small food moment, such as straberry gazpacho in Rise and Shine, that promoted specfic health benefits. Additionally, the main menu of the day was specficially curated so that every dish had specific beauty benefits. We fed our skin as well! The entire event tied back to beauty, health and skin care. And all these high end lines are now available at Target! No more ordering online from oversees or shopping at crazy priced high end drug stores. We also loved how Cara incorporated decor items from Target into all of the stations, from the white side tables in Bedtime Beauty, lots of pillows in all the areas, and white ripple vases used through out.
